A lovely simple very well cut tambour ( embroidered) lace swingy 40's dress.

It was hard to capture the transparent slightly irridescent sequins trailing
around the neckline and upper bodice,

a lovely feature and not blingy, but can easily be removed if you prefer.

It fits my mannequin perfectly she is 25/26waist and 34 bust, a s,all size 10
or possibly an 8.

It still has the metal zip at the side it could of course be replaced with an
invisible zip.

It would need a petticoat under the skirt like most vintage dresses as it is
lightweight.

it is very fitted but not exaggerated like some vintage dresses ( more typical
with the 50's)

so it has a nice modern shape, and a lovely swishy floaty A line skirt

it is fairly long too which is an advantage.

The neckline is a pretty and old fashioned sweetheart shape.

it has been cleaned and checked over there is one very small yellow mark near
the top of one sleeve, barely visible.
